Virginia Leding
Virginia earned an Associates of Applied Science Degree in 2006, where she then began her experience as a surgery assistant. While working full-time and overcoming the everyday challenges of motherhood, Virginia also earned certifications in Basic Life Support, American Association of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Anesthesia Assisting, Dental Assisting and Dental Radiology. Prior to graduating and joining Cumberland Surgical Arts in 2006, Virginia interned at Vanderbilt University Medical Center of Nashville, Tennessee. During this time, she rotated through all fields of surgical intervention, including assisting in elective and reconstructive surgery cases. Virginia strives to exceed the expectations of each and every patient by educating them about their proposed treatment, while alleviating fears or concerns that may arise. It is important to her that she provides each patient with the assurance that they will be cared for in a safe and caring environment. Virginia is dedicated to patient care. She is a native of Clarksville. She is a proud mother of three beautiful children. She enjoys spending quality time with her family, hosting social gatherings for her friends, attending jazz festivals, and relaxing!
Alicia Suggs
Alicia graduated from an accredited school of Surgical Technology with an Associates of Applied Science Degree in Surgical Technology in 2006. She completed her internship program at St. Thomas of Nashville, Tennessee, HealthSouth Surgery Center and Gateway Medical Center of Clarksville, Tennessee, where she rotated through all fields of surgical interventions. Alicia has received certificates in the areas of Basic Life Support, American Association of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Anesthesia Assisting, Dental Assisting and Dental Radiology. Since joining Cumberland Surgical Arts in 2006, Alicia has become very knowledgeable in the skin care line Skinceuticals and Obagi Medical. She is able to assist patients through their surgical procedures, and as well, she is also able to educate patients with particular needs in skin care or dental implants. Alicia greatly enjoys providing education to patients so that they may thoroughly understand a particular product or procedure. Patient experience is what really matters most to Alicia. She was born and raised in Middle Tennessee. She has three wonderful children, two girls and a son. Her spare time is usually spent with family and friends.
