Welcome to our Practice

Our Physicians and Staff at Cumberland Surgical Arts would like to take the opportunity to welcome you to our website. We are proud to bring our practice to beautiful Clarksville, Tennessee. We were awarded certification as an office based surgical facility by the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners. We have the distinction of being the first office based surgical facility in Tennessee to become certified. The certification requirement of office based surgical facilities became law in 2007. This regulation requires that all medical offices performing surgery with anesthesia undergo an evaluation by a representative of the Department of Health and the facility must meet all rules and regulations set forth by the Board of Medical Examiners.

As your providers of healthcare, we look forward to serving you. We pride ourselves in being at the forefront of the latest techniques and technologies related to cosmetic and maxillofacial surgery. We are passionate about our work, and strive for excellence in surgical technique and patient care. Our goal is to exceed your expectations throughout your surgical experience.

Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires up to 6 additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training. Oral and maxillofacial surgeons are the only surgeons in the country who are required to learn general anesthesia techniques as part of their residency training program. As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Lee and Dr. DeFelice manage a wide variety of problems relating to the facial and body regions. Our doctors practice the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery and elective facial cosmetic surgery.

Dr. Lee was voted Favorite Doctor in the 2010 Reader’s Choice Awards sponsored by the Leaf Chronicle. Cumberland Surgical Arts was voted Favorite Plastic/Reconstructive Surgery Center in Clarksville in the 2010 Community Choice Awards sponsored by ClarksvilleNow.com.

However, it is at your physician’s discretion to prescribe any narcotic pain medication.  At times, surgery is the only definitive treatment for your pain and this office will not prescribe pain medications in place of surgery. Please discuss any pain control concerns with your healthcare team.
